Song Translations from Assyrian-Aramaic into English

Suraye Educational Collective inaugurated a collaboration with the Assyrian Lyrics website in mid-2024 to translate the website's library of Assyrian songs into English. The project works to provide translations to many of the songs present on the website that do not already have translations, though other songs that were not present from the beginning have also been added as well. The project is ongoing as of May 2026.

Collaborating with the Assyrian Lyrics website is an exciting endeavour to bridge the language gap for Assyrian music enthusiasts and Assyrians worldwide. By working together, we could ensure that the original artistic intent and cultural context of each song are preserved, fostering a deeper appreciation for Assyrian musical heritage, promoting cross-cultural understanding, and preserving Assyrian-Aramaic into the future.
