More education to go around!
In the event that we are not currently working to bring curriculum changes at a university, or such changes are a work in progress, SEC has taken up a multitude of other projects aimed at increasing awareness of Assyrians and preservation of history, culture, and language! Learn more about these projects, and even how you may be able to help us with them!
We are partnering with the Assyrian Studies Association to expand the presence of Suraye on Wikipedia!
Since September 2024, SEC and the Assyrian Studies Association have been in collaboration on the Wikipedia Project, which aims to edit and create articles regarding modern Assyrian topics, as well as revive a group called WikiProject Assyria! To learn more, please click below:

The Historical and Culture documents
The Historical and Culture documents are two Google documents that aim to detail as much about Assyrian history and culture as possible, written by Assyrians for Assyrians (and others interested). The Historical Document aims to compile evidence for and address many of the topics of Assyrian history that are heavily debated or commonly used as anti-Assyrian rhetoric. The Culture Document aims to compile much of the unknown information of Assyrian culture into one cohesive report for personal viewing.
As of now, the Culture Document is currently on hiatus until a comprehensive plan is though for how to progress with it moving into the future. Our goal for now is to finish a first draft of the Historical Documents and have all the information verified. In the meanwhile, if you have any resources that you’d like to send to us regarding any of the topics on the documents, please let us know!
What are your previously completed extra projects?

SEC previously partnered with Assyrian Apparel, an Australian brand, to bring new GIFS and stickers to express Assyrian pride on GIPHY and Tenor! We experienced some issues with the takedown of the GIFS in November of 2024, but they have since been brought back and can be used again!
All new uploads are available on GIPHY and Tenor for use!
